Hello! I am Justin Collins and I welcome you to my site. Countryman Livery began in 2002 as a means of introducing friends and customers to local rivers and at the encouragement of friends and neighbors who wanted a livery service in Lincolnton, NC
I have worked as a River Guide since 1992 when I was 14 years old. My first experience on a river was at the age of 13 months old with my father, Chip, who is still guiding and you can book a trip with him if you like. I have worked for many companies and on many rivers from float trips up to Class V. I enjoy introducing others to the outdoors, especially rivers. Rivers are the way and reason most towns exist. We have moved away from our awareness and appreciation of these natural resources and I believe I can help draw attention back to your local river and watershed.
Currently, Countryman Livery provides services primarily in the Catawba-Wateree, Yadkin-Pee Dee, French Broad, Broad, Pigeon, and New River Watersheds. Countryman Livery supports and urges you to join Catawba Lands Conservancy, Foothills Conservancy and the Catawba Riverkeeper Foundation. Countryman also keeps close relationships with recreation service providers, resorts, and tour operators in Costa Rica to assist you with any travel you have to Central America.
